I broke down

I broke down in a torrent of tears when I saw this.
I was on a mission to retrace the steps of the last walk I took with my brother before his decline and death. I knew it would be difficult but I didn't expect tears before I even got to the creek trail. This used to be the golf course that my brother took my daughter and I along with for many a round. I usually went into the woods looking for golf balls and my daughter preferred to stay with her uncle. This golf course closed while my brother was being shuffled from hospitals to assisted living and nursing homes. It is 3 or 4 years overgrown now and has quite the different look as it is a now stunning mass of wildflowers. I am crying again right now and I don't know why! It's beautiful.
