Snowy Egret

Happy New Year everyone! Wishing you all a fantastic 2013.
Last night I went out in London with some friends for a few drinks... We initially wanted to go down to the river and watch the fireworks but it was so busy that we just assumed that we wouldn't get a good enough view. Didn't get home until 2:30 this morning, luckily the tubes were running through the night and it was free!
Left London at about midday to head back down to Lymington. As it has been such a lovely day, Mum and I decided to do a traditional New Years Day walk on the sea wall with Alfie. It was great to blow away the cobwebs and watch the sun go down. I managed to capture this egret flying over us collecting things for making its nest.
