Play, play, play, play!

A fantastic evening (and night) of baseball with my man Nick. We really picked a winner of a game this time. The first four innings were loaded with chances but no points, then the Tigers scored one point at the bottom of the fifth, then another at the bottom of the sixth. DeNA then slammed into the seventh inning with five points and it looked like it was over for the Tigers, but they immediately replied with two points, followed by a further two points in the eighth inning. DeNA then scored another point at the top of the ninth inning to even the score at 6-6. By the end of the twelfth inning, after four and a half hours of incredibly tense play, neither team was able to break the deadlock so the game ended in a 6-6 draw at 22:35. Wow!

A big thanks to Nick for being such terrific company and for sharing these two photos with me. Looking forward to doing this again next year - if not earlier - because during this week you get this shirt free with the entry ticket.
