Happy New Year!

After what seems like weeks of leaden skies and rain, the New Year started with sunshine and blue skies (actually that's not true - it started round at J&L's raising glasses of something or other). Anyway, morning found me stepping out and down to the Filmhouse to see the Wicker Man at the Filmhouse - a film I'd never seen. A cult classic of course (meaning it's more than a bit patchy), but I did like this piece which was just like a regular night in the Diggers.

And I knew many of the locations, especially around Anwoth and Gatehouse. Aye, indeed - little known fact #238, the Pensioner was christened by the minister at Anwoth Kirk and many of my forebears are buried in the Kirkyard there. Fancy that!
