Edinburgh Castle was a popular destination this afternoon for the New Year's Day constitutional. I guess most people there were visitors to the city for the Hogmanay celebrations fitting in a quick bit of historical tourism before heading home. So many people taking photographs of each other, which was my planned blip, but in the end went for this one as I liked the symmetry of the two walking young women and the early evening light.
