At Clandon Wood

Clandon Wood is a nature reserve and also a natural burial ground. I was here today for a service of remembrance for my aunt and uncle and the interment of their ashes. The service took place in a pavilion (see extra) in the middle of a wildflower meadow. I think the setting gave a sense of peace and tranquillity to the occasion and the family shared many happy memories of the two of them.
