Back To The Couch

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

Caro arrived home today; she is full of cold. She is stuffed up and snotty and miserable.

Worse, she is on a diet. Ordinarily, I would ply her with food and lots of coffee to cheer her up. But can you cheer someone up with a carrot baton? 

No. That is the answer. No, you cannot.

At least I am sharing in her misery. I too, have decided to be on a diet. Admittedly, not one as extreme as hers, but nonetheless I am eschewing biscuits and big piles of mashed potato.

I expect soon I'll be sharing the cold too. But at least the cats are happy. They have their mummy back. Look at them, thrilled they are.
