A very Royal Bee

This cute tiny bee chose to buzz round the Verbena at the once 5* Royal Bath Hotel. Thankfully their garden is looking a little more loved this year.

Electrician due any minute. Changing 4 useless LED swinging wall lights. Sealed units, so have to bin when the bulb goes. Bought when we moved in, in the early days of LED, with the promise of 25,000 hours of light. The one over the desk has failed. So replacing them with much cooler Ikea NYMANE lights. And adding 2 wall sockets (why did I listen to our builder who said I was mad to have so many sockets installed when we moved in, and so I cut the number down).

Going to be a hot one. Black out blinds and curtains closed and fans at the ready. Good luck wherever you live in the UK and Europe!

Update: Watching the news. Saw the earlier announcement, Boris is in. A foregone conclusion. Now the real fun starts. Politics won’t be boring. The tidy and efficient sparky has been and gone. A bit more vacuuming and putting things back, the worst is done. Doubt if we’ll go out. Around 25c now and due to reach 27c. Plenty to keep us busy at home.
