Gone Fishing

We spent the afternoon on the beach, under the umbrellas. The heat was brutal but there was a breeze near the water and the water was very refreshing.  

I brought my camera but didn't feel like pulling it out because it was just too hot to move, but then I spotted a squadron of pelicans in the water fishing.  They weren't diving for the fish but instead were just swimming and picking up long eel-like white fish.   They were a fair distance offshore so this is cropped significantly.
