Selfie

While Mary and Jane were at meeting in Edinburgh today I managed a visit to the Portrait Gallery.  They have a really good exhibition of portraits by Mapplethorpe (one of my favourite ever photos is stolen above), Arbus and Francesca Woodman, who I didn't know.  All really interesting photos by photographers who died too soon.  Both the women committed suicide (Woodman in her 20's) and Mapplethorpe died of aids.
