Puddles

We have travelled up to Sheffield today to be with hubby's family over Christmas - the journey was really good and the roads very empty.

The weather is atrocious and the flooding on the minor roads seems to be really bad, we are on Motorways so in no danger.

This is a view taken at speed out of the car window of the normal quite calm River Severn which has quite spectacularly burst it's banks into the surrounding fields.

Hopefully we will have some dryer days and the rivers will get back to normal and the fields will have a chance to dry out.
