A tricky day, but one that ultimately redirected me to consider things that are important.
My daughter had to go through something emotionally very challenging today and managed with grace and dignity and maturity beyond her young years.

I was incredibly proud of her, and her courage challenged me to address my own approach to things.

I am taking her away for a night tomorrow.
Hopefully, we can both find some light and find our wings...
