Laid back

Bit of a lie in to let T&Kt get ready and out to work then over to K’s. Sat in the kitchen with coffee surfing for kitchen worktops, potential holidays (Venice? again?) and chatting about all sorts on and off. Had a sandwich - always tastes better when someone else makes it! - and then we headed to the garden centre for a wander and took AR with us. Good explore of everything and then an ice cream (extra).
Home and had a cup of tea then headed to a kitchen workshop to check out composite worktops. How to decide what material to get? I’m not going to be in this flat for so many years but it seems mad if I’m doing it nicely just to get laminate.....sigh!...too many decisions!
Supper in the garden (with delicious Ottolenghi roasted tomatoes on lemon yoghurt) then round to babysit whilst Mt&H went out to get a pizza and movie. AR did a whole set of jigsaws all by herself (I was snoozing on the sofa - oops!)
It’s been a quiet day, but relaxed
