i'm glad it was sunny and we could cruise off again to another adventure. We went to Brooklands Museum where today was held:

New Year's Day Gathering

All classic, vintage and veteran cars, motor cycles and commercial vehicles are welcome for possibly the largest New Year's Day gathering in the South East! Entry is via the Campbell Gate off Brooklands Road for pre-1973 vehicles and pre-booked car clubs (and interesting or special younger vehicles, including supercars), whose occupants will receive a discount of £1 off our usual admission prices - parking in and around the Paddock, on the Finishing Straight and Members' Banking for these vehicles. Pre-booking for car clubs is available by contacting Donna Hopton - details below. Clubs already booked include the Bentley Drivers Club, Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club, Alvis Owners Club, Harrow Car Club, The London Thames Valley Volkswagen Club, Hants & Berks Motor Club, Lotus 7 Club, Lancia Motor Club, Reliant, Scimitar and Sabre Club, Mercedes-Benz Car Club, MG Car Club and the MGF Register.


It was a good family day out, kids were in good spirits, enjoying themselves and I had another opportunity to become better car photographer/journalist :)
