Godolphin

We're having a very happy weekend staying with the LindyLulus and today we've been to Godolphin a NT Tudor property near Helston; an ancient and atmospheric estate with a medieval garden and historic house. The gardens were lovely and on our ramblings around the estate we saw this young Robin, a Wren, Blackbirds , black honey bees, and a hummingbird Hawk-Moth (the first I've ever seen but moves far too quickly to get a shot). In one of the old buildings the young Swallow family were being constantly fed by their parents.

Weather: overcast, warm and very humid.
