which is famous for its fresh fruit and vegetables production. To the left (unseen) are many rows of polytunnels shimmering in the sun. We were sat on a bench having climbed a short but very steep incline, a good work-out for old creaking joints! The extra is a N.T. Tythe Barn in the lovely village of Middleton, where our walk started.
