Retroness.....

At the risk of being boring I've photographed this lovely piece of machinery once again. I wanted to get it done today as we actually had beautiful sunshine this morning and I'll have to return this to it's owner in the next few weeks.

Began the New Year at 6.45 a.m after getting to bed at 3ish :( My youngest daughter called to ask us to pick her up from a party as she had managed to lose her handbag :( :( We've been here before 18 months ago when her bag and it's contents amounting to some £800 was stolen at a party. The problem was that this party was at a large private house (estate with horses etc) and it was rather difficult to find. Thus we found ourselves trawling along the country lanes at 25 mph in the dark looking for this wretched place. On the plus side, the sunrise was gorgeous and the glow of the orange behind the starkness of the trees was sublime. There was even some mist in low lying areas to add to it. Thought it best not to suggest blip photo as my husband was not best pleased........ Anyway after a bit of a faff we found her and brought her home where she promptly flaked out for the morning. She had found her bag but not her phone so fingers crossed it turns up.
