Mount Pond: Cayuga Eyes and Leaves
More manifest in large.
Extra: Mallardling with blurry echo
I went to see whether I could see the Cayuga on Mount Pond; I walked around twice, but only saw moorhens, coots, and the two mallard mothers with mallardlings, so thought I'd be blipping a duckling or four or six, but then the Cayuga and some of its pals appeared in the water by the snack wagon (as the lunch crowd appeared: the birds are used to scraps...).
I hadn't seen it for ages, so was glad that it made an appearance, even if it just pottered about briefly beneath the caf before returning to the mount after (presumably) having come to the conclusion that the people weren't the scrap-offering sort.
Today's others are on this page (or right from 'tweeny moorhenling)
