Annoyance

While I was getting ready to go out I took some shots of birds then I saw the squirrel arrive. He was quite happy having his breakfast then something caught his eye, and it wasn't me.

He dropped the nut he was eating and stared ahead, swishing his tail. I dropped my shutter speed low for this 400mm lens to try and catch the motion of it, hoping that the squirrel would stay still otherwise and I could stay steady enough.

The afternoon was spent hacking down overgrown branches and choosing our 2020 holiday dates for our narrowboat trips.
