'Pinoe

We met with T&K today at the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière and wandered off to walk around the cemetery. It was far too hot to stay out for long and so we headed for something to eat in a shady spot.
As we wandered to the Gallo-Roman Museum we spotted a World Cup liveried coach with the USA flag on it outside a hotel. 
There was nothing to do but encourage the fan-girl in each of my USA supporting companions and head into the bar of the hotel for some refreshment - and by refreshment, I mean stalking. Once we spotted the trainers taking balls and cones etc out to the coach we waited outside for some photo ops of the players heading out to train for the World Cup Final.
We made it to the Gallo-Roman Museum then a slow walk down the hill (a view is in extras), back to our apartment. The evening was spent in the Old Town again at a Bouchon before K & I wandered to find good beer elsewhere.
