It's close to midnight

Expectant crowds turn towards the castle to wait for midnight to strike and the fireworks to begin.

A very civilised Hogmanay for us. We have friends who live very close to the castle who invited us over so we had drinks, ate some food, built a birdhouse and popped out to see the fireworks before popping back in to the warmth. Luxury!
