Peace and quiet

A splendid New Years's Day with good friends David and Charlotte.
Late start due to late night!
A walk along Ettrick Bay (which has become a tradition for Jan 1st)-dodging the showers.
Back into the cafe again for hot chocolate and then a wee tour of the island, culminating in J's favourite place-St Blane's.
There has been a religious settlement here since the 6th century and it is the most peaceful place to be.
