Exploration

It was dangerously hot again today. My poor dog likes to sleep in, as do I, but I woke him up and got him out early so we could walk safely. 

I made a reservation in the Shenandoah for next Saturday when the Milky Way should be uninhibited by the moon, the weather should be good, and the temperature should be much better than here. I can bring Samuel, or I can leave him home. I know he'd rather be with me, but my friend and I may want to hike more than he can. 

I am so thankful that air conditioning exists and that I am able to have it.
