From Elvet Bridge..

I’m behind again with my holiday journal. I’ll catch up but will write today’s news.

We began with a walk along the river towards Prebends Bridge then back to go on the river for a boat trip. The captain was excellent and we learnt lots as we cruised oh so slowly. A beautiful still morning which made it even more enjoyable.

We caught more musicians later, taking part in the Streets of Brass weekend and stopped to listen from the bridge. Wonderful.

An afternoon spent at Crook Hall House and Gardens where we surely saw the gardens at their summer best. I’ll add an extra later.

This evening we’ve watched Yesterday, a brilliant movie. Those unforgettable Beatle’s songs...
