Enjoying the water

We met Emma and the Welsh Terrier that she is looking after at the moment, Maggie.

Emma lives in the area that where I grew up.

We started off with lunch in the pub where I remember an outdoor swimming pool. It’s not there anymore.

And then we went for a 5km alk around Fleet Pond. I lived there for 18 years and never walked around the pond.

We had a lovely walk and you would never know that you were near a town.

Maggie loved the mud, see the extra. All of the dogs loved the pond.

It was really nice to see Emma.

Murphy and Willis are now exhausted.

The forthcoming week is going to be rather warm. I’m not looking forward to commuting in the heat.
