Watching the hack

It has been a day of zooming around. First, through to Stromness to check on the horses my beautiful wife has been looking after whilst their owner is away on holiday. Back home for lunch, then a wander with the woofers at Lyde.
With the dogs fed and settled back at home, HV and I headed through to Stromness to watch the Stromness Hack pass the field we keep our horses in. We weren't sure how George and Katie would react to the horses passing and then standing around next to their field and thought it best to be there. HV stood with George and Katie who were totally unphased as the ride went past. 
We spent a bit of time talking to various riders and horses and HV had her Pimms stolen (see extra).
