Hot Birthday of grandpa, +27c

A birthday to grandpa, my father-in-law. An early visit to the country so, that all of out family can come togheter. I made a new sauna cap for him. 

I knitted the wool beanie yesterday evening, used some 6 hours and it was ready at 3am this morning. Woke up at 9am to wash it in the washing machine to make it wet felted.

He was so happy!

Our daughter did leave to Helsinki again for another summer job week. Feeling a bit tired I guess, after a long music festival weekend. I guess it was worth it though!

Hot day +27c still and sunny. Everyother Finn hate the warm, I guess. I do not. Made a short bicycling trip as it was so lovely weather and my knees feel quite OK as it is warm.
