They don’t come in other colours
Oh I do like to drive around topless at this time of the year, such fun.
I only met one person on my walk across the fields and over the ridge this morning, and she had a lovely friendly roan-coloured Cocker Spaniel to make a fuss of. She did say that she loves photography but finds it difficult with the dog or her husband in tow. Understandable.
The fields of wheat and barley haven’t been cropped yet but must be close to being harvested judging by the colour and I could hear the wheat popping.
This Yellowhammer was reasonably obliging but didn’t let me too close.
This afternoon I had to rescue a Peacock butterfly from the lounge but it didn’t want its picture taken.
The Tour de France is exciting but I’m disappointed we only get the golf highlights.
