Margaret

Margaret is the original engine of The Strathaven Miniature Railway and inaugurated the service 70 years ago on 14th May 1949.

The miniature railway located in Strathaven Public Park runs every weekend from Easter till late September, weather permitting

Margaret has been refurbished a number of times and is currently in good working order, used for special occasions, while other locomotives now do the heavy lifting.
