Christmas star

My colleague came up with the idea of giving gold and silver stars to children from the schools who came into church in the run up to Christmas. We also gave them out to the congregation on the Sunday before Christmas. People wrote on the back of them something for which they were thankful. A quiet time in church earlier on gave me chance to read some of the messages that were hanging on the Christmas tree, which I thought were lovely. And I haven't blipped anything to do with Christmas trees yet!
