Full Cornish

Late night packing last night. Early start this morning aiming for a 4:30, wheels-rolling, absolute deadline start. And, sure enough, on the stroke of 5:00 we were moving.
Sigh.
But that was early enough to miss the bad traffic. Summer holidays start from Monday onwards and we didn’t have the full holiday nightmare traffic.
Slightly damp so, rather than heading to St Ives for breakfast on the beach, we diverted to Falmouth for breakfast in the Pier Cafe - really good - including home-made baked beans.
Then a bit of charity/record shopping according to preference. C imposed a spending limit but I’m the breadwinner now!
Then off to St Ives. Tiny apartment but it has a view and a parking space!

Something of a remote family emergency in the evening (not the kids!) but resolved before bedtime, hopefully...
