shiny bright dullness

Had a couple of weeks from hell. Which means I haven't been near a camera -  even though it goes with me everywhere in my bag.
It all seemed to be coalescing into one shit-fight 36 hours. One part seems to have been diverted, one part was seen through successfully, and one part is an ongoing medical issue with a beloved family member.
I'm looking for the shiny part on this dull day.
