Museum Day

We spent most of today visiting museums in Santa Fe. We had to start with Georgia O'Keeffe's as she is the most well-known artist from this area, but eventually discovered our new favorite at the International Museum of Folk Art - Alexander Girard. We lucked into a traveling exhibit of his days as a graphic designer (work in textile design for Herman Miller shown above) before being immersed in his 10,000 piece collection of world folk art which filled an entire wing of the museum and could have kept us enthralled for hours.
