Green Man

The day started cloudy and a little damp; I walked into town just as all the stall holders were setting up and there was a sprinkling of rain; however by the time I'd enjoyed coffee and chat it had passed over and the sun was trying to shine.   The Green Man Parade goes through the town centre up to Pilton, the site of an Abbey in days long gone and nowadays there is a Festival to celebrate good and evil etc.  It has got very big since I first lived there eleven years ago with a lot of music, punch and Judy, ice cream, various food stalls etc.  An enjoyable day out and hopefully profitable to all who bring their wares.
