Disguise

I know it's a heron, you know it's a heron, everyone knows it's a heron.  I don't know who he thinks he's fooling. I suspect he went to some trouble to make himself look like ......what?  A duck, a lawn ornament, a potted plant?  As much as I might wish I lived in something other than this apartment, I know can't ever move because I'd miss him and his antics too much.
