Beach clean-up

It just had to be another Troon beach blip before I left after morning coffee. Gill and I walked along the prom, tiddly-pom, after breakfast to buy a paper and saw this tractor raking up the sand to clean it of seaweed and rubbish.

Although the temperature was a bit lower and the wind a bit breezier, everything was clearer today with both Arran and Ailsa Craig clearly visible.

Can you remember where you were, fifty years ago today, when man landed on the moon for the first time? I was in Mexico City, working as a nanny during my summer break from college, and clearly remember watching the momentous occasion on television.
