The River Swale.

We have spent a lovely day with Mr C’s brother and his wife at their new holiday home by the river Swale.
This is the view from their veranda.
A beautiful spot. Chosen by G as he loves fishing at this spot.

Fortunately the weathermen git it wrong again.
Turned into a glorious day. Only one heavy shower, and fortunately we were having lunch at the time.
A very nice fish and chip cafe in Thirsk.
Loved the knitting bombers in the town. See extra for one of their designs on one of the bollards.
Had a walk along the river.
Saw lots of chub and barble and very big too. No wonder people like fishing here.
There were also a lot of banded demoiselles ( see extra closeup and one of them flying over the flowers on the river)
Look forward to visiting again soon.

So sorry our girls lost the netball. They played well.
