Brightness Up

A funny old day here. 

Too hot to do much really - there's a breeze that lies to you -  it offers a bit of respite and then as soon as you're out - weg - and you're being basted by the sun.

The heat messes with the already very limited capabilities of drivers here to concentrate on driving.  We can add driving motorcycles without helmets to the list of Things That Brilliant Drivers Do - up there with steering with your elbows while checking your phone...

I'd love to see how these people would have got on with one of the surveys that asked How Good A Driver Are You?  For driving skills, 93% of the U.S. sample and 69% of the Swedish sample put themselves in the top 50%; for safety, 88% of the U.S. and 77% of the Swedish put themselves in the top 50%.  This delusion is dangerous for us all.
