Take me to your leader

Have you noticed how many repeats there are on TV? I swear some of the stuff on TV today was shown 50 years ago! Actually, I remember it well; and can also remember being in class in Green Lane Junior School when the teacher told us that the Russians had put the first man in space, Yuri Gagarin. Such exciting and optimistic times; but then we probably didn't know a great deal about what else was going on in the world like Cuba, Aden, South Africa etc.

Anyway, in recognition of it being fifty years since Neil Armstrong became the first person to set foot on the moon, here is my version of an alien creature. I'd back it against the leader we're likely to have here next week.
