Bomble sitting on the fence after breakfast
Every day since my operation Bomble has been keeping me company. He is getting rather old and much less mobile, but given half a chance he likes to still be a cat.
After breakfast he usually likes to come close to us and have a cuddle. Now the weather is better, and I have the door into the garden open, he likes to go there to spend time in the sun, often on the patio table or a wooden chair. He is a Bombay shorthair breed and loves to lie prone with his legs stretched out front and back. But he also like to make the big leap from the table up onto the fence.
He has always prowled the borders of his territory and this is one of the last spots he still regularly visits. Today he was there for about twenty minutes before leaping back down to the tabletop for a snooze, spreadeagled in the sun.
As I write he has just brushed past my legs while en route to his feeding area so he can finish his breakfast. We think little and often is his principle mode. Long live Bomble.
