Merry Christmas in the Canaries!

Happy Christmas everyone!

Celebrated by lying next to the pool all day! Had a nice breakfast, exchanged presents by the tree in the lobby with Mum and Steve, got some lovely gifts and then ventured outside.

The pool yesterday was freezing, couldn't even catch our breath! We tried another pool today and it was just about tolerable if you kept on swimming! It was getting so hot sunbathing at one point that we went and sat inside for lunch. Todays blip is of my sunglasses on the boat restaurant with todays pool!

Dinner was good - everyone made an effort, looked glam and the hotel had put on a really lovely Canarian Christmas menu.

The evenings entertainment - children's circus and flamenco dancers! Need I say more!

Still can't believe that it's Christmas today, feels really alien! But it has been a really great day.
