Hydro History

This is a piece of crockery that came from the Hydropathic Hotel in Kilmacolm. When the hotel closed all of the crockery was simply dumped into the dam in the grounds, in recent years a small number of houses were built on the site of the dam and when it was drained to allow works to proceed I was fortunate enough to find this partial saucer with the crest intact. I searched in vane for an unbroken piece but everything, sadly, was smashed.
