Número Uno - Day 1!

Feels funny writing day 1 half way through the month, but Day 1 of my 2nd Year of Blips!! Bring on Book Number 2!!

Today sees the start also of our Christmas Holiday in Lanzarote! A fabulous 22 degrees, nice and hot, but a comfortable heat when we landed from Gatwick.

Up at 5am for the flight, everything was great from start to finish. Waited at the airport for Mum to come through from Edinbourg!

When we arrived at the hotel, it was like walking onto a film set! So beautiful, huge tree and lights all around, the typical Spanish arches and red/white brick architecture. The rooms are large and airy; with a fabulous view on the balcony.

Several cocktails and conversation in the bar finished off Christmas Eve, Eve perfectly!!

Bring on the sunbathing on Christmas Eve! Doesn't sound right!
