Excuse me whilst I multitask

How does she do it? Not only can Nikki handle the rigours of parenthood, she can do so whilst surfing the net. Where do you learn such valuable life skills?

It was a very subdued New Year's Eve in the Jagger household this year. Gooma was in bed by 8pm and weren't much better. To be honest, if it wasn't for nappy changes I think we'd have been in bed before midnight too!

Still, we wouldn't change it for the world. I've already learned so much about being a dad, about Nikki's strength of character and about life in general. There's no doubt this will be one amazing year!

Four days in and we had a weigh in with the midwife today. Our wee man has lost 7% of his initial body weight (which is apparently perfectly normal in the first few days) but he's expected to regain it all back within 7-10 days. Part of me can't wait to see him grow, but the other part wants to enjoy every single second along the way.
