364 to go / Hopetoun Monument

The start of my 365 project - to add a blip photo everyday of 2013.

This morning we headed just past Haddington to Byres Hill the site of the Hopetoun Monument. 29 meters tall with 130 pretty dodgy steps.

Well worth a visit, especially on a clear day when you can get 360 degree views, from Dunbar to Edinburgh and over to Fife.

It was also the start of another challenge today - during January I'm going to try and run 2 miles per day. Had breakfast, dog walked and run completed by 09.30am this morning which is a pretty good start!
