Still in Basel

I assessed a course in Basel today. Strange feeling to take a bus to work across the Rhine - a lovely 10 minute commute and reminded me of when we lived and worked in Budapest. I worked solidly and was tickled that at lunchtime I could cross the street, dodging the trams, and buy sandwiches in the Co-op. The centre had invited me out for dinner and we had a very nice night right on the banks of the river. The table was booked for 6.30pm, so we went straight from work. Very nice to get the chance to share ideas on best practice. I was exhausted when I got back to the hotel at around 9.30pm. And guess what.....couldn't sleep!
