Twirlywoos

L has watched the Twirlywoos on CBeebies for a couple of years. She still finds them hilarious even though she doesn’t choose to watch them that often now. Today it was raining and she wanted to paint them.

Out came some card and my faithful Sharpie to crudely draw our little friends and L set about requesting colours. To my memory I think this is the first time that she’s really tried to paint different sections in different colours (she may have done it at nursery but with me she really just likes blocks of colour over everything - usually blue).

She did a pretty great job! Happy smiles all round.
