Barefoot

A very slick and easy airport experience at Gatwick to catch our late morning flight to Tampa. Nine and a half hours, and four movies later, we were there in the afternoon sun, picking up the car and on our way to the Gulf Beaches, a short 40 minutes away.

Staying at The Barefoot Beach Club in Madeira Beach, an apartment-type place with sea views, direct beach access and plenty of nice touches. A couple of my favourite Big Wave Hawaiian ales on the balcony and then down to the beach for swimming and to watch the sunset over The Gulf Of Mexico. Idyllic!
