Pine Coning

A favourite occupation when out walking is collecting pine cones for our fire. As you can see, Frida does her bit by pointing out the bigger ones to us.
Still a bleakish day- but a good catch up with a long time friend over coffee at one of the cafes. It was busy with the end of the school holidays drawing near. Went for another walk this afternoon and now off to “Happy Hour” at the local rest home where Jill’s 98 year old mother lives.
