The Year End Meteor (Metaphorically Speaking)

Benny Benassi - Spaceship (Alex Gaudino & Jason Rooney Remix)

Metaphorically speaking, the end of the year marks an incredible step into new territory. Plainly speaking, it's truly just another day, not one that's remarkably different from others, but what is brought to it is an insurmountable sense of mystique and almost religious aspect of change. I'm not going to lie and pretend to see no difference, but to mark this attitude is something that one can adopt positively. This year was difficult, truly difficult for me. What makes it even worse, is that it was of my own fruitition. My close friends tell me not to beat myself up about it, but I have no one else to blame.

Although I can't change it anymore, I still have the power to make decisions for the future. To make more progress and more mistakes. To choose.

I was sick as anything, fighting through a cold and I still had a gig spinning house at The Plastic Factory. But to have spent time with great friends and to let the time pass with valuable frivolity was great.

The gig was tremendous and without sounding like a pompous dick (although there is much of it to be had in every blip post that I do), I was in my element with great help and support from other, much better DJs. Here are a few tracks that I played that went down very well.

Soulsearcher - Can't Get Enough (Original Mix)
Ghosts of Venice - Don't Stop the Music (This went down an effing treat and I LOVE this song right now)
Texas - Inner Smile (Stonebridge Classic House Mix)
David Morales - Needin' U (Original Mistake)
Cevin Fisher - You Got Me Burning Up ft. Loleatta Holloway (Triple D Mix)

Lots of love. Thank you and closing yet another chapter.
